Studio Policy

This website is operated by (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website or booking an appointment, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all clients, visitors, and users of the site and studio.

BOOKING POLICY

THE GOOD CAT SCRATCH is a private tattoo studio based in Nakameguro, Tokyo. All appointments are by reservation only. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion.

To book an appointment, we require:

  • A non-refundable deposit to secure your time slot
  • Full agreement with our waiver and health screening policies
  • Valid government-issued ID (you must be 18+ years old)

Once the deposit is paid, no changes can be made to your appointment time or date for any reason. If you miss your appointment or cancel at any time, the deposit will be forfeited.

DEPOSIT TERMS

Deposits are used to secure your time and to prepare your custom artwork. They are non-refundable under any circumstances, including:

  • Design change of mind
  • No-shows or cancellations
  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice
  • Violation of our health or ID requirements
ELIGIBILITY

We do not tattoo anyone who is:

  • Under 18 years old
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Affected by bloodborne illnesses (HIV, Hepatitis B/C) or uncontrolled health conditions
  • Allergic to pigments
  • Affiliated with organized crime or antisocial groups

If any of the above is discovered before or during your appointment, your session will be immediately cancelled without refund.

TATTOO WAIVER

By receiving services at THE GOOD CAT SCRATCH, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Tattoos are permanent and may fade over time
  • We are not liable for any dissatisfaction regarding the design, fading, allergic reactions, scarring, or social/lifestyle impacts
  • The design is finalized in consultation, and post-procedure complaints are not subject to refund or litigation
  • Photos may be taken of the work and used on social media or promotional materials unless otherwise requested in writing
  • All information submitted on the consent form is true and accurate
  • Forgery or concealment of eligibility criteria may result in cancellation and forfeiture without compensation
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs created by our artists remain the intellectual property of THE GOOD CAT SCRATCH unless otherwise agreed in writing. You may not replicate, copy, or distribute any artwork without permission.

STUDIO CONDUCT

Respectful behavior is expected at all times. To ensure a comfortable environment for everyone, friends or children are welcome to accompany you, as long as they remain calm and do not disrupt the session. We reserve the right to cancel any appointment in cases of inappropriate, aggressive, or unsafe behavior.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for changes. Continued use of our website or services after any modifications constitutes acceptance.
