FAQ

The Day Of Appointment

Tomorrow Is Your Appointment

Tomorrow is your tattoo appointment day—whether it’s your first tattoo or just another addition, you must be very excited! Just a few things: please follow the instructions before your appointment.

  • Consuming alcohol can thin your blood, leading to increased bleeding during the tattooing process. Excessive bleeding can interfere with the tattoo artist’s ability to work effectively, potentially affecting the quality of the tattoo.
  • And drinking alcohol before getting a tattoo can affect your immune system and slow down the healing process. Proper healing is crucial to prevent infections and ensure the tattoo looks good.
  • These medications can prolong bleeding even after the tattoo is completed, leading to longer healing times and a higher risk of complications.
  • Medications like aspirin and other anticoagulants also thin the blood, increasing the likelihood of excessive bleeding. This can cause complications and make it harder for the artist to apply the ink properly.

Both alcohol and blood thinners can affect how the skin holds the ink, potentially leading to a less vibrant or uneven tattoo. Excessive bleeding can make the tattooing process more uncomfortable and stressful for both you and the tattoo artist.
For these reasons, it’s best to avoid alcohol and consult your healthcare provider about any blood thinner medications before your tattoo appointment.

  • Gently scrubbing the skin helps remove dead skin cells, providing a smoother surface for the tattoo. This can help the ink penetrate the skin more evenly and improve the overall quality of the tattoo.
  • Keeping the skin well-hydrated ensures it is in the best possible condition for tattooing. Dry or flaky skin can make the tattooing process more difficult and may affect the healing process.

By following these points, you can help ensure your skin is in optimal condition for getting a tattoo.

  • Eating a meal helps maintain stable blood sugar levels, which is crucial to avoid feeling faint, dizzy, or lightheaded during the tattooing process, especially if it’s a long session.
  • Getting a tattoo can be a physically and mentally taxing process. Having a meal beforehand ensures that you have enough energy to endure the session, helping you stay comfortable and focused.
  • Proper nutrition can help maintain your pain tolerance. Low blood sugar can increase sensitivity to pain, making the tattooing process more uncomfortable.
  • Feeling hungry or weak can distract you and make the experience less pleasant. Being well-nourished ensures you feel your best and can handle the procedure more smoothly.

For these reasons, it’s a good idea to have a balanced meal before your tattoo appointment, ensuring you’re physically prepared for the session.

  • Being on time allows you to settle in, relax, and mentally prepare for the session. Rushing in at the last minute can increase stress and anxiety, negatively impacting both your experience and the quality of your tattoo. Additionally, we need extra time for consultation before starting the tattoo and for discussing aftercare once the tattoo is finished.
We would like to have enough time to work on something last forever.

While you are welcome to bring someone along to your appointment, please note that due to limited space and for sanitary and liability reasons, only the client is allowed in the tattooing area. Guests of clients may wait in our lounge and seating areas during the session at our discretion. Additionally, we are conveniently located near excellent cafes and shops!
