③ Topic and Theme

To prepare a theme and topic for your tattoo, reflect on personal significance, gather inspiration, choose a meaningful theme, narrow it down to a specific topic, and consult with a skilled tattoo artist to refine your ideas.

④ Size (in cm)

To decide the ideal size of your tattoo, consider the design’s detail and complexity, the placement on your body, how visible you want it to be, your pain tolerance, and discuss these factors with your tattoo artist for their professional advice.

⑤ Black and Gray OR Color

The choice between black and gray or color tattoos depends on personal preference, the specific design, and how you want the tattoo to look over time.

⑥ Position

Painful positions for tattoos typically include areas with more nerve endings, thinner skin, and less muscle or fat cushioning. These areas include:

  • Ribcage
  • Spine
  • Ankles
  • Armpits
  • Elbows
  • Knees
  • Groin
  • Inner Thighs
  • Hands and Fingers

Tattoos in areas where the skin moves frequently are prone to blurring and ink loss. These areas include the hands, fingers, feet, toes, as well as joints like the elbows and knees.

⑦ Reference

Please send images of objects, views, flash inspirations, and any other relevant material. This helps to transform your ideas into a design smoothly.
